Four years ago, the DC Council funded our #REPPDC proposal and began DC's first coordinated Grow Your Own program for High School students & paraprofessionals. Building on our advocacy, DC has now instituted a Teacher Apprenticeship program. Now it's time to scale this program with significant investments, make needed reforms and strengthen this critical opportunity for teacher recruitment, retention and diversity in DC!
