RESULTS: WTU/EmpowerEd Survey on Educator Morale & Retention (Dec 2021)

Washington, DC has the highest urban teacher turnover rate in the country- averaging between 25-30 % of teachers leaving their school each year.  (SBOE 2019, OSSE 2020). 
​The national urban average is between 16 and 19 %
